Artisan Partners Asset Management Inc. (NYSE: APAM) reported preliminary assets under management (AUM) of $183.5 billion as of August 31, 2026, according to a press release filed with the SEC on September 10, 2026.
The firm’s AUM is broken down into two primary categories: Artisan Funds and Artisan Global Funds, which accounted for $94.5 billion, and separate accounts and other AUM, which totaled $89.0 billion.
The breakdown by investment strategy as of August 31, 2026, includes:
- Global Opportunities: $12.4 billion
- International Value: $58.2 billion
- Global Value: $39.96 billion
- U.S. Mid-Cap Growth: $9.9 billion

- Other strategies include Global Discovery, Franchise, Global Equity, Credit Opportunities, Floating Rate, Developing World, Non-U.S. Small-Mid Growth, Global Unconstrained, Emerging Markets Debt Opportunities, Emerging Markets Local Opportunities, Grandview Property Partners, and Global Special Situations.
In early August, the firm announced that a long-standing sub-advisory client is diversifying from a single-manager to a multi-manager structure. Artisan will remain one of three managers under the new arrangement. This change is expected to result in the rebalancing of approximately $6 billion from the Global Value strategy in September 2026.
The firm noted that the anticipated impact on revenues is expected to be less than the corresponding reduction in assets under management due to the nature of the mandate and its associated fee structure.
