Aptevo Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: APVO) announced on October 14, 2026, that it will present data regarding its multispecific platform at the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) 2026 Annual Meeting. The conference is scheduled to take place from November 4 to November 8, 2026, at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
The presentation, titled "Leveraging multispecific antibody-like molecules to localize CD40 agonism to the tumor to overcome the immunosuppressive microenvironment and potentiate anti-tumor immunity," will be delivered by Michelle Nelson, PhD, and colleagues. The abstract for the presentation has been assigned number 1060.
Aptevo’s presentation will focus on its broader CD40-directed multispecific portfolio. The company aims to demonstrate how its technology coordinates innate and adaptive immune activity within the tumor microenvironment. According to the company, solid tumors can suppress anti-tumor immune responses, and Aptevo’s tumor-directed CD40-activating molecules are designed to localize immune activation to the tumor site to promote a more complete anti-tumor response.
Mary Janatpour, PhD, Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer at Aptevo, stated that the presentation highlights the continued evolution of the company’s multispecific platform. The company noted that its approach combines tumor targeting with localized CD40 and T cell activation to engage both arms of the immune system where it matters most.
A copy of the presentation slides will be made available on the Publications page of the Aptevo website following the event.
