Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) is scheduled to hold a product event on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET in Cupertino, California. This event marks the first major product launch under the company's new Chief Executive Officer, John Ternus, who succeeded Tim Cook on September 1. Tim Cook will serve as executive chairman and is expected to attend the event without presenting.

According to a report from Bloomberg, the company is expected to debut a foldable smartphone known as the iPhone Duo. The device is projected to start at $2,000, with higher-capacity versions reaching approximately $3,000. The Duo is rumored to feature a short-and-wide design, Apple’s new in-house C2 modem, the A20 Pro chip, dual rear 48-megapixel cameras, and support for the Apple Pencil. The device is expected to go on sale as early as October in white and dark blue finishes.

In addition to the foldable device, Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models. These devices are anticipated to retain last year’s design while incorporating a mechanical aperture camera system, the A20 Pro chip, longer battery life, and a revamped vapor chamber. The company is reportedly raising prices on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max by $100 per model.

The event is also expected to feature new Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 models, as well as a lower-cost AirPods 5.
