According to a recent analysis, the costs for the ad-supported tiers have increased by 4.8% since March, while ad-free plans have risen by 12.5% over the same period.
The monthly subscription costs for the eight platforms, without accounting for annual memberships or bundling, are as follows:

- Paramount Skydance’s (NASDAQ: PSKY) Paramount+: $8.99 (with ads), $13.99 (without ads)
- Disney+: $12.49 (with ads), $21.49 (without ads)
- Comcast’s (NASDAQ: CMCSA) Peacock: $8.99 (with ads), $19.99 (without ads)
- Apple Inc’s (NASDAQ: AAPL) Apple TV+: $14.99 (no ad-free plan offered)
- Amazon.com’s (NASDAQ: AMZN) Prime Video: $8.99 (with ads), $13.98 (without ads)
The total monthly cost for the eight platforms with ads is $86.92, while the total for the eight platforms without ads is $144.41. Apple TV+ remains the most expensive single platform among the eight listed, priced at $14.99 per month.
Apple has raised its Apple TV+ price in August, marking the fourth price increase in four years. The company currently does not offer an ad-supported tier for Apple TV+. Disney has raised its streaming costs four times in four years, with the ad-free Disney+ plan nearly doubling from its $10.99 per month cost in 2022. Netflix raised prices earlier this year, and Peacock and Paramount also increased their rates during the same period.
