Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) stock fell nearly 1% on Wednesday as broader market risk-off pressure impacted large-cap technology and growth stocks. The Nasdaq dropped 1.05%, the S&P 500 fell 0.55%, and the Technology sector declined approximately 1%. At the time of publication, Apple shares were down 0.99% to $336.34.

The company announced the launch of a new Mac mini and a Mac Studio, both powered by the M6 and M5 chip families. Apple stated that the M6 Mac mini delivers up to four times faster AI performance. The Mac Studio targets demanding professional and AI workloads with support for up to 512GB of unified memory. Both products integrate Apple Intelligence and Siri AI through macOS 27.

Regarding the company's AI strategy, CLSA analyst Bhavtosh Vajpayee suggested that smaller AI models could move artificial intelligence onto personal devices. He identified Apple’s smartphone ecosystem as a potentially important gateway for consumer AI. Morgan Stanley analyst Erik Woodring reported that early demand for the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max appears fine, despite Apple producing about 18% more units than a year earlier. Woodring remains optimistic about the company’s upcoming Duo foldable device, expecting it could sell nearly every unit produced over the next 12 months. CNBC’s Jim Cramer described the Duo as "revolutionary."

Woodring noted that Apple trades at a "relatively rich" valuation of about 33 times fiscal 2027 earnings, near its historical peak multiple. He suggested that further stock gains may require higher earnings estimates, while a deeper slowdown in Services could pressure the valuation. Additionally, Apple carries significant exposure in several exchange-traded funds, representing 9.68% of the Direxion Daily Technology Bull 3X ETF (NYSE: TECL), 9.74% of the Motley Fool 100 Index ETF (BATS: TMFC), and 9.97% of the VistaShares Target 15 Berkshire Select Income ETF (NYSE: OMAH).
