Apple Inc. (AAPL) has announced a new suite of audio-focused features designed to enhance user interaction with Siri and the Apple Watch. The company unveiled the capabilities under the banner of "Audio Intelligence," which includes the ability to transcribe the last 15 seconds of audio and summarize conversations.
The new features include a "Live Rewind" function, which allows users to replay and transcribe the 15 seconds of audio immediately preceding a spoken command. Additionally, Apple introduced "Siri Recap," a feature that provides a summary of conversations held with Siri.
Apple emphasized the privacy of these new tools, stating that the Audio Intelligence features do not create or store audio files. The company also noted that these capabilities are intended to bring sound recognition to the Apple Watch.
