Apogee Enterprises, Inc. announced the election of Julie K. Streich to its Board of Directors, effective September 11, 2026. Ms. Streich, age 55, has been appointed as a Class I director with a term expiring at the Company’s 2029 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. The Board also designated her as an independent director and appointed her to the Audit Committee. With this appointment, the Board increased its size from eight to nine directors.

Ms. Streich brings significant financial and governance experience. She most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of Barnes Group Inc. from 2021 until her retirement in March 2026, where she also served as Interim Chief Executive Officer from March 2022 to July 2022. Prior to Barnes Group, she held leadership roles at Centrica Plc, including Senior Vice President, Finance Operations from 2019 to 2020 and Vice President, Global Planning and Analytics from 2017 to 2019. Earlier in her career, she served as Chief Financial Officer for Direct Energy Home and Direct Energy Residential, among other positions.

Currently, Ms. Streich serves on the Board of Directors of Schneider National, Inc., where she chairs the Audit Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Spanish from Ripon College and an MBA in International Business from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

In connection with her election, Ms. Streich will receive a pro-rated cash retainer of $75,000 for fiscal year 2027. She also received a time-based restricted stock award of 2,530 shares of the Company’s common stock, which will vest in three equal annual installments over the first three anniversaries of the grant date. The closing price of the Company’s common stock on The Nasdaq Stock Market on September 11, 2026, was $37.88.
