Aperture AC, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol APUR, has announced a leadership transition at Atlantic HPC Group Inc. According to a press release filed with the SEC on October 7, 2026, Atlantic’s board of directors has appointed Leo Lin as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2026.

Lin succeeds Jacqueline Jiang, who has stepped down as CEO. Jiang will continue to serve as a member of Atlantic’s board of directors. Lin brings over 20 years of experience in scaling operations and achieving rapid growth. His previous roles include serving as Chief Financial Officer for Eat Just Inc. and Karma Automotive LLC, as well as Vice President of Finance at NIO USA Inc.

Atlantic HPC Group Inc. is a U.S.-based digital infrastructure company focused on power-intensive bitcoin mining and computing facilities. The company operates facilities across Oklahoma, Arkansas, Ohio, and Tennessee. The press release notes that Atlantic is currently primarily engaged in cryptocurrency mining operations, with substantially all revenue to date generated from bitcoin mining.

Atlantic is expanding its operations into high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure, specifically through its Ohio AI Campus. The company has contracted utility-approved power capacity for this project, though full commercial operation requires additional infrastructure upgrades.

This leadership change is occurring in connection with a proposed business combination between Aperture AC and Atlantic HPC Group Inc. The companies entered into a business combination agreement on September 10, 2026. In connection with this transaction, Aperture and Atlantic intend to file a registration statement on Form S-4 with the SEC, which will include a definitive proxy statement and prospectus.
