Annovis Bio, Inc. announced on October 29, 2026, that it has received a notice from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) indicating the company is no longer in compliance with continued listing standards.
The NYSE cited Section 802.01B of its Listed Company Manual, which requires a company to maintain an average market capitalization of at least $50 million and stockholders' equity of at least $50 million. Annovis Bio failed to meet these thresholds.
According to the filing, as of October 28, 2026, the company’s 30 trading-day average market capitalization was approximately $48.4 million. Additionally, the company reported a stockholders' deficit of approximately $(4.3) million as of June 30, 2026.
The NYSE has granted Annovis Bio a 9-month cure period to submit a plan to regain compliance. The company must submit this plan within 45 days of the notice. If the NYSE accepts the plan, the company’s common stock will continue to trade on the exchange under the symbol “ANVS” during the cure period. However, the trading symbol will be designated with a “.BC” suffix to indicate the stock is below listing criteria.
The NYSE will review the company’s progress on a semi-annual basis. If the company fails to submit the plan on time or does not meet the standards by the end of the 9-month period, the NYSE may initiate delisting proceedings. The exchange may also take accelerated delisting action if the stock trades at levels viewed to be abnormally low, generally defined as below $0.10.
The notice does not affect the company’s business operations or reporting obligations with the Securities and Exchange Commission, nor does it cause an event of default under its material debt agreements.
