Amrize Ltd (NYSE: AMRZ) has appointed Mario Gross as the new President of its Building Envelope business, effective September 11, 2026. Gross succeeds Jake Gosa, who notified the company of his resignation on September 6, 2026. Gosa’s resignation began a 12-month termination notice period under his employment agreement, during which he will remain an employee until September 6, 2027.

Gross brings significant experience to the role, having served as Amrize’s Chief Supply Chain Officer since the company’s listing on the New York Stock Exchange in June 2025. Prior to that, he served as Chief Operating Officer of the Building Envelope business from 2024 to 2025, where he led operations to establish the segment as a leading provider of commercial and residential roofing, weatherproofing, and insulation systems. Before joining Amrize, Gross held various commercial and operational roles at Holcim and Sika.

Jan Jenisch, Chairman and CEO of Amrize, commented on the appointment, stating that Gross is an exceptional leader with deep operational expertise and a track record of delivering results. The company noted that Gross will succeed Gosa and is committed to a smooth transition.
