Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (AITX) announced on September 30, 2026, that its wholly owned subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD), has received an additional order for one RIO 360 system from an existing global healthcare technology customer. This order follows a previous RIO 360 order from the same client, which was placed earlier in September 2026. The two units are intended for deployment at separate locations to deter after-hours trespassing.
The orders were placed just 15 days apart, reflecting a strategy by RAD to expand within enterprise accounts by securing a foothold at one location and pursuing similar needs at others. RAD’s Chief Security Officer and Chief Revenue Officer, Troy McCanna, noted that healthcare is becoming a strong market for the company due to the varying security needs across different sites. He stated that RAD expects healthcare to remain a meaningful source of new orders, though the pace of expansion will depend on customer decisions and the company’s performance.
According to the filing, RAD’s solutions are designed to deliver cost savings of between 35% and 80% compared to traditional manned security. The company has completed a SOC 2 Type 2 examination regarding its data protection practices. RAD’s technology is integrated with Immix, a provider of central station and remote monitoring software.
