Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (AITX) announced on October 19, 2026, that its wholly owned subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD), has hired security industry veteran Tom Reilly to lead the development of new channel operations.

Reilly, who is based in New York, will be responsible for preparing and executing the strategy for systems integrators and distribution channels. He will develop the programs and operating model for these channels and work with RAD's sales organization to execute them. Additionally, he will analyze existing channels to drive deeper market penetration.

Reilly brings nearly 20 years of experience building and running businesses. From 2019 to 2026, he served as President of Commend Americas, the Americas business of security communications manufacturer Commend, holding full P&L responsibility across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

According to the filing, RAD's products, including RAIA and SARA, are designed to be specified, installed, and supported by systems integrators and distributors. The company expects much of its next phase of growth to come through these partners. Reilly will also work with RAD's sales leadership on strategic account plans for the largest guarding and facility services companies in North America.

CEO and founder Steve Reinharz stated that the company has built its early growth selling directly and through guarding companies, but that this approach will not get them where they are going. Reilly is expected to help build a repeatable program for integrators and distributors, which the company views as the source of volume for RAIA and SARA.

The channel strategy is intended to support the company's stated goal of reaching positive operating cash flow in December 2026 by adding partner-driven revenue without adding fixed cost.
