Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (AITX) has announced that its subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD), has received new orders from a global logistics client. The client, described as one of RAD's earliest enterprise customers, has placed orders for two RIO Mini security units and two TOM visitor management units. These units are intended to support security operations at an existing facility.

The client has a long-standing relationship with the company, having adopted RAD solutions for visitor management, access control, monitoring, and mobile patrol across multiple locations. The company notes that this client has provided operational input that helped shape RAD's product portfolio. The latest orders build on previous expansions, which included additional TOM, RIO, and AVA units, software subscriptions, and a second ROAMEO autonomous patrol vehicle.

Steve Reinharz, CEO and founder of AITX and RAD, commented on the relationship, stating that the client has been with the company since the early days and that their trust has helped shape RAD's offerings. The company highlighted that RAD's portfolio addresses the specific needs of logistics facilities, which must balance constant movement with tight security controls. RAD solutions are designed to provide cost savings of between 35% and 80% compared to traditional manned security, utilizing stationary and mobile autonomous systems.

The company has completed a SOC 2 Type 2 examination regarding its data protection and compliance practices. AITX develops its AI-based technologies and services through its family of companies, including PURSUON, Inc., Robotic Assistance Devices Residential, Robotic Assistance Devices Group, and Robotic Assistance Devices Lanka. The company's solutions are deployed across various industries, including enterprises, government, transportation, and healthcare.
