American International Group, Inc. (AIG) has closed the sale of senior notes totaling €1.125 billion. The offering consisted of two separate tranches of debt.

The first tranche, the 4.250% Notes Due 2031, had an aggregate principal amount of €625,000,000. The second tranche, the 4.750% Notes Due 2036, had an aggregate principal amount of €500,000,000. The notes were sold on September 24, 2026.

The underwriters for the transaction were Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch; J.P. Morgan Securities plc; BNP PARIBAS; and Citigroup Global Markets Limited. The notes were issued pursuant to a supplemental indenture with The Bank of New York Mellon, which serves as the trustee.

Legal counsel for the transaction was Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, which provided an opinion on the validity of the notes on September 24, 2026.
