AIB Data Centers Inc. announced on September 30, 2026, that it has entered into a binding Master Colocation Services Agreement with Nebius Inc. The agreement involves the provision of 50 megawatts (MW) of critical IT capacity at AIB’s facility located in the southeastern United States. AIB expects to deliver this capacity across two data halls.
The agreement is supported by a previously announced 15-year Electric Service Agreement for 65 MW of utility load at the site, which requires no significant additional electrical infrastructure upgrades. According to the filing, AIB anticipates that customer prepayments under the initial 12-year term, combined with project-level debt and preferred equity, will fund a substantial portion of the initial development costs. This financing strategy is expected to reduce the company's anticipated need for corporate-level common equity and limit potential dilution to shareholders.
Nebius is described as an AI cloud company providing full-stack AI infrastructure for developers and enterprises. The agreement adds dedicated capacity in the southeastern U.S. for training and inference workloads. AIB’s Chief Executive Officer, Jerry Tang, stated that the deal validates the company's strategy of securing power in attractive markets and converting it into long-term contracted revenue with leading AI infrastructure companies. Nebius’s Chief Product and Infrastructure Officer, Andrey Korolenko, noted that AIB’s existing power position provided a clear path to bringing the capacity online on a timeline that works for the customer.
The announcement follows several recent milestones for AIB, including the completion of a strategic acquisition in Texas that increased the company's total contracted power capacity to approximately 120 MW.
