Acuity Inc. (NYSE: AYI) reported its financial results for the fiscal quarter and year ended August 31, 2026, in a press release filed with the SEC on October 1, 2026. The company reported net sales of $1.2 billion for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, an increase of 2.9 percent compared to the prior year. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter were $5.63, up 56.0 percent year-over-year. Adjusted diluted EPS was reported at $5.77, an increase of 11.0 percent.

For the full fiscal year 2026, Acuity recorded net sales of $4.6 billion, representing a 6.8 percent increase compared to the prior year. Diluted EPS for the year was $17.05, a 36.1 percent increase. Adjusted diluted EPS for the full year was $19.90, up 10.5 percent. The company generated $826 million in cash flow from operations for fiscal 2026.

Segment performance varied between the company’s two reporting units. Acuity Brands Lighting (ABL) generated net sales of $958.7 million in the fourth quarter, a slight decrease of 0.4 percent year-over-year. In contrast, Acuity Intelligent Spaces (AIS) saw net sales rise to $297.6 million in the quarter, a 16.6 percent increase.

Regarding capital allocation, Acuity repaid $200 million toward its term loan during the fiscal year. The company also increased its dividend by 18 percent and repurchased over 940,000 shares of common stock for $287.2 million.
