21Shares US LLC, the Sponsor of the 21Shares Ethereum Staking ETF (TETH), has announced the extension of a voluntary fee waiver. The Sponsor agreed to waive its fee for an additional year, keeping the waiver in effect through October 8, 2027. This extension applies to all current and prospective shareholders and requires no action from investors.
The fee waiver was originally introduced in October 2025 alongside the integration of staking features for the Trust. 21Shares stated that the extension underscores its commitment to providing cost-efficient access to Ethereum. By combining the zero-cost structure with the yield-generating potential of network staking, the Sponsor aims to pass the benefits of blockchain technology back to investors.
According to the press release, the Trust participates in Ethereum’s network validation process through staking. As of October 1, 2026, the net staking reward for TETH, after the deduction of fees and expenses, was 2.65%. The Sponsor noted that this rate is subject to change based on network conditions and the proportion of assets deployed in staking.
The 21Shares Ethereum Staking ETF is listed on the Cboe BZX Exchange under the ticker symbol TETH. The Trust is not registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and is not subject to the same regulations and protections as 40 Act registered ETFs and mutual funds.
